Hey everyone one how do you do, putting my first blog here on Artician! Woot!
So I joined on a whim, I like the feel of the site, I have a DeviantArt Account as well. Though it's really not that serious xD. (Go check it out anyways, Restfulsleeper.Deviantart.com >> )
I've never really been to involved with the community of DA before, so I thought i'd give Artician a shot.
I'm really into the anime style, my own work heavily influenced by it for a very early age. (I remember megaman was my first real exposure to anime, since then i've never looked back.) I've been practicing for a long time now and have gotten rather good. I also love coming up with stories, infact i'm in the process of writing my own manga. (Right now it is really a messy process lol)
I'm also a social gamer, by that I mean I like to play MMOs, things like Shaiya, Rumble Fighter, Conquer Online, and Lunia to name a few. Always looking for a new experience aswell. Though I am NOT a hardcore gamer, and never expect to be. I enjoy the beauty of a well crafted and finely balanced game. Not really about achievements, or becoming some gaming god. I enjoy teaming up and just passing time with people.
Another old thing I enjoy is really just Role Playing, though I do it rather rarely and with only a select few people. (VERY select) It seems you just can't find good RPers anymore, or that you do, but they end up being way to detailed. (They'll write u a novel and expect you to read every bit of it >>;; )) Still I have one or two characters I still use for that purpous.

Ahem, anyways... that's part of the reason why I don't RP anymore (or not as much) -sighs-. It's kinda annoying when they do that cause then they expect you to do the same, because they put some time into it -snorts-. For me, the only time I write so detailed is obviously when I put the bio of a character... the rest is pretty much moderate, heh. Also, I prefer RPing either with one person or two at the same time, don't want to get lost or overlooked, xD!
I used to play online games as well, but time ripped that apart, hell I don't even have time to play on my precious DS -grumbles-. Also, I agree with your view of gaming... I'm not one to be the ultimate gamer, etc. and it's definitely not a game if your being so serious, poor souls
